HERMES

HERMES project 4th milestone "Preliminary Design Review (PDR)" has been successfully achieved!

In a significant milestone for the HERMES project, the consortium representatives (EBOS, ITTI, and ITL) along with subcontractor TALGEN met virtually on July 10, 2023 to present the system requirements, specifications, architecture and demos to the End-User Advisory Board (EUAB). The PDR mainly relates with Tasks 3.2 ‘Architecture’ and 3.3 ‘Preliminary Definition’.

Within this context, Task 3.2 played a crucial role in defining the overarching architecture of the HERMES solution, encompassing the selection and integration of various technological components. Task 3.3, on the other hand, focused specifically on the preliminary definition of the HERMES solution. This involved designing user interfaces, establishing both public and internal APIs for specific modules (services), and ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, secure data exchange, and efficient dissemination of information.

During the PDR review meeting, the following key elements were showcased:

  • An overview of the architecture, providing a snapshot of its structure and components.
  • The methodology followed to update the HERMES system requirements and specifications.
  • The mapping of demos, effectively illustrating the practical application of the HERMES solution.

The overall objective of this PDR was to obtain feedback from the EUAB on the HERMES System Requirements, specifications and architecture. Thus, the 4th project milestone has been successfully reached.
