HERMES Project Showcased at Eurosatory 2024, Highlighting Advances in Cybersecurity for Defence Systems

The HERMES project team is excited to announce the successful showcase of our innovations at Eurosatory 2024, held in Paris from June 17-21, 2024. As part of eBOS, a leader in research and development, we were featured at the Cyprus Pavilion, Hall B5, Booth BC319. Our participation highlighted the HERMES Data Exchange Platform (DXP), a transformative solution in cybersecurity for defence systems.

Eurosatory, founded in 1967, remains the essential global event for Defence and Security professionals. This year’s edition continued its tradition of offering a unique platform for connecting manufacturers, start-ups, key stakeholders, and public and private Defence and Security market players worldwide. The event emphasised Defence, Security, and responses to multiple crises, reflecting the sector’s rapid global transformations.

During the exhibition, the HERMES team had the opportunity to engage with top experts, government representatives, international institutions, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Eurosatory 2024 featured over 1,800 exhibitors, over 100 conferences and keynotes, and live demonstrations showcasing the performance of various vehicles, equipment, systems, and solutions.

Visitors to the eBOS booth had the chance to explore groundbreaking innovations, including detailed insights into the HERMES EDIDP project, scheduled for completion in August 2024. The HERMES Data Exchange Platform (DXP) represents a significant advancement in cybersecurity for defence systems, underscoring our commitment to enhancing secure and efficient information exchange within the defence sector.

Our team was honoured by the presence of the Cyprus Minister of Defence, Mr. Vasilis Palmas, and his team, along with the Greek Minister of Defence, Mr. Nikos Dendias. Their visit highlighted the importance of international cooperation and support for technological advancements in defence.

Dr. Loizos Christofi, R&D Director at eBOS, remarked, “Eurosatory 2024 provided an exceptional opportunity for eBOS to showcase our cutting-edge solutions and engage with industry leaders. Our participation underscores our dedication to enhancing cyber defence capabilities and fostering innovation in the Defence and Security sectors.”
