Between the 5th and 8th of September 2023, Mr. Krzysztof Samp, Vice president of ITTI, attended the prestigious 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO, held in Kielce, Poland.  

The Targi Kielce Defence Industry Expo brought together 711 exhibitors from 35 countries, including 350 Polish companies. The trade fair extended its warm welcome to 61 delegations representing 43 countries, uniting over 25,000 guests from around the globe! Notably, this year’s MSPO exhibition occupied a sprawling 34,000 square meters, setting a new record. 

Mr Krzysztof actively participated in the accompanying event ‘Debate on Transformation of the European Defence Industry’, organised by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology together with Targi Kielce S.A., aiming to indicate a paradigm shift in how to deal with defence capabilities in Europe. This event provided a platform for institutional and business leaders to reflect on Europe’s defence transformation in the changing security environment. Important stakeholders of the European defence sector as well as industry professionals, policy-makers and representatives of academia participated in the debate exchanging views related to the development of the EU industrial policy and the role of the defence sector, and industrial cooperation.  During this stimulating debate, Mr. Krzysztof Samp shared valuable insights and experiences stemming from his active involvement in EDF, EDIDP, and EDA projects with a particular focus on our very own HERMES project. The conference’s objectives were clear: to inspire and motivate larger and smaller entities alike to participate in forthcoming calls of the EDF program.
